Animal Control Pets of the Week

Roger is a male adult lionhead albino domestic rabbit. He came to Animal Control as a stray towards the end of February. Upon admission, he was reported to be apparently healthy. Like all ‘critters’ at Animal Control, Roger is available to a qualified adopter at no cost. Animal Control staff encourages potential adopters to research the care requirements of any pet prior to adopting.

Mr. Potter is  a 3 year old neutered male who arrived at Animal Control as a stray mid-February. A good samaritan had been feeding him and letting him in and out of his house for several months prior to turning him over to Animal Control. This person repors that he seems to like children, but not dogs or other cats. Mr. Potter is available to a qualified adopter for $14.

Eve 2 is a 9 year old female who was surrendered to Animal Control mid-December. Her previous owner was forced to move for health reasons, and Eve 2 was not allowed in the new housing. Volunteers report that it took Eve 2 a while to adjust to the new surroundings, but is now more curious and outgoing. She is available to a qualified adopter for $14.

Iggy is an adult iguana who was brought to Animal Control mid-February. He was left in a vacant apartment after the occupants moved out and was found by the cleaning crew. Like all ‘critters’ at Animal Control, Iggy is available to a qualified adopter at no cost. Animal Control staff encourages potential adopters to research the care requirements of any pet prior to adopting.
